One thing I believe is in building relations. Majority of mentors failed to understand the pain or sufferings a Mentee have been through the time, before any advice or suggestion a Mentor gives, it's important to check a few things. Is he or she is comfortable with you, have they spoken their heart out, if he or she is being genuine? One should first try and establish a relationship, a bond, a connect of friendship first, to get the most out of Mentor-Mentee relationship. Trust plays a vital role. With time and experience, I have learned the art of reading the state of mind, things which are important in creating and maintaining relations, and self-belief to accept and apply in life. A single genuine friendship fulfills us by filing the cracks that other failed relationships have etched over time.
Life is all about learning.
